Safety Rescue Boat

This boat was built as a rescue boat for a company that builds docks and piers for the US Navy. They requested a wide spacing between lower deck slats to allow water to drain through as fast as possible. Almost any parts of this scalable design can be modified for specific needs.
Note the black mesh that supports the lower deck from the upper decks. This is a double layer of heavy mesh that also protects the hulls where they are exposed inside the frame. This will keep them clean and protect them from activity in the cockpit.
The long and short cross braces can by located anywhere along the upper decks as long as a long cross brace is located at or near the ends of the frame and one is located near the middle. They can be located at any frame station (every 7.625 inches). The transom acts as a log cross brace, structurally.
The hull straps attach to the edges of the lower deck. The six hull straps, when pulled tight, hold the whole frame and hull assembly together in a tight stable configuration.
