Item WR8050 - RK Rowing Foot Brace
The Rowing Foot-brace is attached to the lower deck using two captive screws that drop through the gap between any two lower deck slats along the length of the frame. Starboardtm blocks with brass nuts (supplied but not visible in the photo) are tightened from the bottom side of the deck to secure the two rowing foot-brace mounting tracks to the deck. Once mounted, the foot-brace bar can be adjusted forward or back in two inch increments - using a 1/2" nut-driver or wrench from the topside.
The foot-brace bar is 1 inch thick by 3-1/2 inch wide cedar (5/4 by 4 nominal size) 24 inches long. It is screwed to a 3/4" thick Skidguardtm plywood stiffener on the backside (not visible in photo). The foot-brace bar is designed to be easily replaced by the owner if ever necessary. Details in Online Manual
